Track & Archery Teams Are Starting Strong

As the Spring season opens, our WDV Wolves Track and Archery teams are starting strong!

Our Track team competed in the Santa Monica Invitational Meet this month, with an incredible five 1st place finishes, three 2nd place finishes, five 3rd place finishes, and 14 personal best records achieved. Below is a recap of our team’s achievements, and pictures of our student-athletes!

“The Wolves are hitting their stride, consistently improving with each meet. I'm particularly proud of our athletes' dedication to speed and performance,” shared Varsity Head Coach Christopher Jackson. “This track season has been a journey of growth. Despite facing challenges such as a change in training facilities and unpredictable weather, I'm proud of the resilience shown by our student-athletes who remained dedicated to the team,” he continued.

Our WDV Wolves Archery team is also starting their season with top honors, finishing 2nd place overall as the regional champions.

In ranking rounds Jack Trolia took Varsity boys 1st place. Summer Tsai took the JV girls 3rd place. Fabian Martin took 2nd place JV boys. For Olympic Solos Jack Trolia took 1st place.

In the team rounds: Morgan Adams, Kaden Schneider and Marissa Obermiller took 1st place and 2nd place went to Jay Clark, Talon Cappasola and Ethan DeLaTorre.
