Charlie grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago and graduated from the University of Arizona in 2005. After college, he moved to Los Angeles and spent nearly two decades working in the entertainment industry before making a big career shift. In 2023, Charlie began substitute teaching at Da Vinci Connect, where he discovered a passion for education and felt an immediate connection to the Da Vinci community. Inspired by this experience, he pursued his teaching credential through Alder Graduate School of Education, graduating on June 1, 2025.
When he’s not in the classroom, you’ll likely find Charlie on the tennis court or spending time with his wife, their 11-year-old daughter, and their rag-tag crew of pets: three cats and one dog.
