Da Vinci RISE High provides a safe, flexible, and empowering learning environment for students facing challenges that often disrupt traditional schooling. We’re currently enrolling for the Fall 2025 semester beginning August 18 — and we welcome applications year-round!
Through the facilitation of a flex-scheduling, credit recovery model, students are given the voice and choice necessary to pursue their academic goals while honoring the additional responsibilities they have in their lives.

RISE co-locates with nonprofit partners that provide robust wraparound services. All students can receive a free TAP card for unlimited Metro bus and rail rides.

In 2016, RISE High was 1 of just 10 schools nationwide to receive a $10 million XQ ‘Super School’ grant to rethink high school from the ground up. More recently, RISE was named one of America’s Most Innovative Schools through the prestigious Yass Prize initiative.
