As a DVC alumna, Amy is excited to join Da Vinci Communications as a Paraeducator. Her time at Da Vinci helped her realize the love she has for education, equality, and human rights. Amy hopes to create a safe and inclusive space for students so they’re able to confidently ask for support, which is what her teachers and counselors did for her when she attended DVC. Amy is currently attending Mount Saint Mary’s University for her undergrad as a Sociology major with an emphasis on human rights and a criminology minor to prepare her for law school. Amy comes from a Mexican-Peruvian background which is something she deeply takes pride in. In her free time, she enjoys learning about new cultures, strength training, taking care of her plants, and spending time with her family!
