Founded in 2013, Da Vinci Communications is the recipient of a prestigious Next Generation Learning Challenges grant funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates and The William and Flora Hewlett Foundations. DVC currently serves approximately 525 students in grades 9-12.

The DVC curriculum is founded upon the UC/Cal State “A-G” requirements for admission, and we use a Project-Based Learning methodology for the delivery of course content, with assessment through a mastery-based grading system that is used by all teachers in the school.

DVC students have four career pathways to choose from: Computer Science (robotics, web design, app development), Marketing, Multimedia Journalism, and Media Production. These pathways include specialized courses as well as unique opportunities for students to work alongside professionals in these fields as well as opportunities for internships.

Da Vinci Communications has a culture of collaboration with many outstanding industry, higher education, and nonprofit partners that are on the leading edge of innovation in their respective fields, including Northrop Grumman, Belkin International,  the Los Angeles Times, Riot Games, Project Lead The Way, El Camino College, and many more.
