Kristina Becht has been an educator for over 16 years. She has taught in Brooklyn and the Bay Area, specifically Hayward and Oakland. She is a passionate math educator, and she deeply believes that EVERYONE is capable of achieving and succeeding in mathematics.
Kristina grew up in San Diego, then went to Occidental College in Eagle Rock (in northeast Los Angeles) and followed by Columbia University – Teacher’s College for graduate school. After which she taught in New York, Northern California, and Los Angeles. She loves living in Los Angeles as the people, weather and food in SoCal can’t be beat. She tries to go on a hike every weekend, especially with ocean views. She loves being near her family in San Diego, while enjoying the city of L.A.
