WDV Athletics: Fall Sports Are in Full Swing

The fall season is officially underway, and our Wolves are making their mark across the South Bay! From returning programs competing at a high level to teams building something new, our student-athletes are showing what Wiseburn Da Vinci Athletics is all about: hard work, resilience, teamwork, and a commitment to getting better every day.

There is a lot to celebrate as we head into the heart of the fall season!

🏐 Girls Volleyball: Building Momentum
Our Girls Volleyball program has been working hard since the summer, and that preparation is showing on the court. The varsity Wolves have battled through a challenging non-league schedule and are continuing to grow as they move deeper into Pioneer League play.

The team has already picked up strong wins against opponents including Heritage Christian and Culver City, while competing in several tough tournaments and matchups against some of the area's strongest programs. The Wolves currently sit at 11-11 overall, with plenty of volleyball still to be played.

Beyond the scoreboard, this team continues to demonstrate the competitiveness and determination that has become a hallmark of WDV Volleyball. Every match provides another opportunity to improve, compete, and prepare for the postseason.

The future is looking bright for WDV Volleyball, with our JV and freshman teams also putting together strong seasons and developing the next generation of Wolves.

Keep working, keep competing, and keep believing! Go Wolves! 🐺🏐

🏃 Cross Country: Miles and Milestones
Our Cross Country athletes have been putting in the miles—and the work is paying off!

Cross Country is a sport built on consistency, discipline, and individual growth. Every practice, every workout, and every race is an opportunity to become a stronger runner and a stronger teammate.

Our Wolves have been competing throughout the fall season and continuing to make progress as they work toward the championship portion of the season. With runners pushing themselves individually while also supporting one another as a team, the program continues to build momentum.

We are especially proud of the commitment our student-athletes have shown to the process. Cross Country isn't just about one race—it's about showing up day after day, putting in the work, and seeing how far you can push yourself.

🏈 Girls Flag Football: A New Chapter for WDV
This season marks a historic first for Wiseburn Da Vinci Girls Flag Football as a CIF program, and our Wolves are embracing the challenge!

Starting a new CIF sport comes with a learning curve, and this team has jumped right into competition while learning, developing, and building the foundation for what we hope will become a strong and lasting program at WDV.

The Wolves have already shown flashes of what this team can become, with exciting offensive plays, defensive stops, and individual performances throughout the season. Most importantly, the team continues to gain valuable experience every time they take the field.

With each game, our athletes are learning the speed and strategy of CIF competition, developing chemistry, and gaining confidence.

This is Year One—and we're just getting started!

We couldn't be more excited to watch this program grow in the years ahead. Congratulations to the athletes and coaches who are helping establish something new at WDV!

Keep building, Wolves! 🐺🏈

🏖️ Boys Beach Volleyball: Growing Bigger and Better
Boys Beach Volleyball had an record-breaking turnout for tryouts this season, with more student-athletes attending than ever before!

That incredible interest allowed the program to field its largest rosters to date, a huge sign of the growth and excitement surrounding beach volleyball at WDV.

Since tryouts, the Wolves have been putting in the work. The team has been competing in pairs tournaments every weekend, gaining valuable tournament experience while developing individual skills, communication, court awareness, and chemistry with their partners.

Beach volleyball is a sport that demands adaptability and teamwork, and our athletes are embracing the challenge. Every weekend brings another opportunity to compete against strong competition, learn from each match, and make progress.

The growth of this program is exciting to see, and we're looking forward to watching these athletes continue to develop throughout the season.

The future of WDV Beach Volleyball is looking bright! 🏖️🐺

🐺 One Pack. One Goal.
Across all of our fall programs, one thing continues to stand out: our athletes are getting better.

Some teams are competing for championships. Some are building new programs. Some are learning what it takes to compete at the CIF level. Others are discovering just how much they can accomplish when they push themselves beyond what they thought was possible.

That's what high school athletics is about.

We are incredibly proud of the way our Wolves are representing Wiseburn Da Vinci—with enthusiasm, determination, sportsmanship, and a willingness to put in the work.

Thank you to our coaches, families, teachers, and fans for supporting our student-athletes throughout the season. And to all of our Wolves competing this fall:

Keep showing up. Keep working. Keep competing. Keep believing.

Go Wolves! 🐺💙
