‘Summer in Wiseburn’ Camps Are Returning This Summer, Registration Opens on March 15

We are so excited to share that our incredible Summer Athletics Camps and Enrichment Camps will be returning for Summer 2025!  Registration opens on March 15 with some camps offering Early Bird registration discounts. Visit www.summerinwiseburn.org to learn more!  

Last year was the first time that Wiseburn USD, Da Vinci Schools, Wiseburn Education Foundation (WEF), and Da Vinci Schools Fund (DVSF) all came together to create a new one-stop shop for Summer in Wiseburn camp programming and registration. This year, we are carrying forward what we started last year, while offering a few new enhancements.

Below are highlights of the exciting changes in store for Summer 2025! 

Youth Athletics Camp (July 7 – August 1, 2025)
Location: 201 N. Douglas Street, El Segundo

Last year, our youth athletics camp hosted 250 campers for six weeks on the Wiseburn Middle School campus. This year, we are opening registration up to 250 campers again, but we’ve made some changes to the camp structure that we think everyone will love:

• Added Early Bird pricing (up to $100 off if you purchase between March 15 – April 1)
• Register for 1 week at a time or as many as 4 weeks, July 7-August 1 (last year, families had to purchase the entire 6 weeks)
• Camp is now 5 days per week, M-F (last year camp was just 4 days per week)
• Registration is now open to incoming 3rd-8th graders (expanding the grade levels available)
• Camp moved to 201 N. Douglas St., the location of our district offices and high school athletics facilities
• Easy transition to Da Vinci Enrichment Camps with a supervised lunch for campers staying on campus all day
• More indoor activities available
• More varied programming, such as Dance Day, Art Day, Board Game Day, etc at least once per week
• And so much more! 

If you’d like to enroll your child, we highly recommend you do so during our Early Bird pricing period, which begins March 15 and ends at 11:59pm on April 1.

Like last year, financial aid will be available for qualifying families, however you must apply for aid between March 1 and March 21. The window for applying for aid closes on March 21. Financial need awards are limited and given on a first-come, first-served basis. Apply here.

High School Athletics Training & Development Camp (Various Dates)
Location: 201 N. Douglas St., El Segundo

Last year’s high school athletics camps were also a tremendous success with 250+ high schoolers and incoming 9th grade students enrolled in the training and development camps and/or strength and conditioning camps.

This year, we expect to open enrollment for Archery, Girls/Boys Volleyball, Girls/Boys Basketball, Girls/Boys Soccer, E-Sports, Swimming, Baseball, and Runner’s Club.

We’re also offering early bird pricing discounts, which can provide up to $50 off if you enroll between March 15 – April 1. 

Specific details for each sport will be available on our website by March 15. 

Just like with the youth athletics camp, financial aid is available for qualifying families. To request aid, please apply online between March 1 and March 21. Aid awards are limited and given on a first-come, first-served basis.

Da Vinci Enrichment Camps (Various Dates)
Location: 201 N. Douglas St., El Segundo

This year Da Vinci’s Enrichment Camps will be back again and will include Robotics, Ceramics, Board Games, Debate, Art, Performing Arts, and a new Crochet Camp.

All camp schedules and offerings will be posted online by March 15.

“My daughter really enjoyed Art Camp! She loves doing art and had a lot of her classmates in the camp with her, too. I can’t wait for her brother to join her at camp next year,” said a parent from the 2024 Camp.

With so much activity happening on campus at 201 N. Douglas Street, it’s going to be a summer to remember for so many of the youth and high schoolers in our school communities and in our neighboring communities. Last year we had campers join our camps from all over Los Angeles County, and this year we are expecting the same.

“We are thrilled to have kids from all over come to our high schools’ campus and use our new WDV Soccer Field for our Summer in Wiseburn camps,” said Dr. Blake Silvers, Superintendent of Wiseburn USD. “Just like last year, we expect a camp full of connection, laughter, and joy.”
