Steven Covelman teaches U.S. History and Ethnic Studies at Da Vinci Communications. After growing up in Irvine, California, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Print and Digital Journalism from the University of Southern California and his Master’s in Education from Johns Hopkins University. Prior to coming to DVC, Steven taught 8th grade English and Social Studies at Wheeler Army Airfield on Oahu and AP U.S. History in San Jose, California. When he is not teaching you can typically find Steven running, reading, adding to his record collection, or hanging out at the beach. He is also an avid traveler who has been fortunate to visit over 20 countries.
