Sam Ruhl (she/her/hers) is the 10th grade English teacher at Da Vinci Communications. She was born and raised in Torrance, California. After high school, she moved to the central coast to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where she received a B.A. in English, Teaching Credential, and an M.A. in Education.
Sam is passionate about the English language, literature, and critical thinking. She is excited to continue to learn and develop her practices as an educator, as she considers herself a lifelong learner.
When she is not working, Sam likes to spend her free time with her family and friends. She loves playing both board and video games, traveling on weekends, taking her dog, Oliver, for walks, and eating frozen yogurt.
