Rita Bouchard

Rita Bouchard lives her passion for life, people, and the art of teaching and learning. At Da Vinci, she has inspired students across elementary and middle school, bringing energy and creativity to every classroom. Now, she’s excited to immerse herself in the dynamic roles of additional student support and guiding new  teachers through induction. She appreciates that she can co-create community with her colleagues. Rita holds a B.S. in Geology from Cal State Dominguez Hills and, after several years working as a field geologist, transitioned to education. She earned her teaching credential from Cal State LA’s Charter School of Education and a Master of Arts in Education, specializing in Leadership and Change, from Antioch University. Her Ed.D. explores the Nexus of Critical Place-Based Pedagogy and Indigenous Knowledge Systems. An avid traveler, Rita spends her summers exploring new cultures and volunteering in Ladakh, India, blending adventure with purpose.
