Martha proudly attended the Lennox School District (Larch Lions!), graduated from Leuzinger High School, earned her Associate of Arts Degree from El Camino College, and was conferred a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Loyola Marymount University. After graduation, she worked as an elementary school teacher for two years before opting to work part-time in order to raise her two children. Before joining Da Vinci Schools, Martha worked part-time as an instructional aide for a great group of SDC students at Dana Middle School.
