Andrew Daramola is the Assistant Principal at Da Vinci Communications, transitioning from the classroom where he taught U.S. History and World History. Andrew is graduating from a Master’s program in Education Administration from USC this spring and brings experience as an instructional coach with Teach for America in Philadelphia as well. Originally from Minnesota, Andrew received his B.A. in Geography and Urban Studies from Temple University and his M.Ed from Marquette University. Upon graduating from Temple, Andrew joined Teach For America, desiring to make an impact on students and share his love of history and how it impacts our lives and identities. Andrew spent eight years as a history teacher in various subjects, and then as Director of Teacher Development at Teach For America – Greater Philadelphia, before moving to Los Angeles in 2017. In his education experiences, Andrew has been able to work with and support teachers in a variety of different middle and high school settings, and is excited by Da Vinci’s project-based approach. Outside of school, Andrew enjoys all kinds of music, staying active, following Minnesota sports teams, and exploring Los Angeles (and eating good food) with his wife, Eupha Jeanne.
