Brendan Reynolds

Mr. Brendan Reynolds is an English Teacher at Da Vinci Connect HS.  He has been with Da Vinci for 4 years as of this year (2026-27) and has 20+ years of career experience in Education and Teaching.  Reynolds earned his BA in English from UCSB, his MA in Secondary Education from LMU and his CLEAR Single Subject Teaching Credential in English from UCLA Extension.  Reynolds has taught 9^th through 12^th grade English classes over the course of his career, bringing a combination of both depth of knowledge of Literature as well as a deep love of music, theater and cinema, which make for a rich and vibrant classroom experience for all students. 

Reynolds is also a career musician as both a drummer and a singer and still performs professionally, and he has acting experience as well with a maintained membership in the Screen Actors Guild.  He has stated many times that Connect High School has been his favorite teaching experience of all time, and he hopes to stay with the organization for many years to come. His favorite poem is “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost, which closes with the lines, “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I– I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.”
