Jef Schilp has been teaching English for over 25 years and seeks to build confidence into our young writers by helping establish their own voices and styles as we write across the genres. Originally from New Jersey, he came to LA in 1996 and loved the So Cal outdoor lifestyle. When not teaching, he and his wife and two children travel as often as possible, having already visited 41 states and 9 countries. Learning about others helps him identify more with students of all walks of life with a wide array of passions and interests.
