Nayeli was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. In 2020, Nayeli graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s University (CA) with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Spanish Studies. A year later, Nayeli chose to further her education by completing a post-baccalaureate certificate at CSUDH to become eligible to begin a master’s degree in speech-language pathology. Her goal is to work in the pediatric setting offering bilingual speech services to children in Spanish and English. Nayeli feels extremely lucky to be a part of the DVS family since she also graduated from DVS in 2016. In 2019, Nayeli began working at DVS as an Academic Coach. Her current role is to assist students in Spanish as well as the teachers in the Spanish department. Additionally, Nayeli helps coordinate tutoring services for students to receive additional academic support. During Nayeli’s free time, she enjoys running, singing, and playing sudoku.
