Kené Washington is the School Counselor for Da Vinci Connect and Da Vinci Extension, originally from Gardena, California. He has a bachelor’s degree in Communications from California State University, Fullerton and a Master’s degree in Education from National University, Los Angeles. As a lifelong learner, Kené has a special interest in mindfulness and he encourages students to manage stress and anxiety through mindfulness practices. He believes in the power of self-awareness and integrity as key components for leadership. In his free time, Kené enjoys volunteering in the community (mentoring and coaching basketball), spending time with loved ones, listening to music, fantasy football, watching LA sports teams (Dodgers, Lakers, USC, UCLA) as well as exercising and traveling.
