Carmen Haas

College Writing & Art History, Da Vinci Design

Carmen joined the Da Vinci family in the 2012-2013 year as the 12th grade College Writing and College Art History teacher. Her passion for the arts and history began when she became obsessed with the character Indiana Jones. As a means to follow this career, Carmen attended California State University, Los Angeles and obtained her M.A in Art History and Archaeology. This allowed her to travel with her professors to Mayan and Aztec ruins in Central America where she learned about classic civilizations. Wanting to share this passion to a younger generation, Carmen obtained her credential in Social Science from UCLA.

When not in school, Carmen is busy traveling the world (10 countries and counting), trying new foods, and locally hanging out with friends, family, and her doggie Chee.
