Adamilka Wood is a Native Spanish Speaker from the Dominican Republic and a proud mother of an ASU Sun Devil and a fantastic HS soccer player. She earned her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Education from the State University of New York – College at New Paltz and has taught in New York, North Carolina, Singapore and Germany.
While living overseas, she took advantage of the travel opportunities and explored Europe and South East Asia while enjoying every cuisine she could find along the way.
Her international experiences have given her a broader understanding of cultures and a greater appreciation of differences and similarities between educators and students from all over the world.
She has been a Spanish teacher at Da Vinci Design since 2017 and is excited to continue witnessing the growth in our students’ Spanish language skills and culture knowledge.
