Nearly 300 Families & Supporters Raise $69,163 During March Pledge Month

Chevron Corporation challenged Da Vinci Schools to raise $25,000 during March Pledge Month -- and WE DID IT!!

Thanks to your amazing support, we raised more than double our goal -- $69,163 in donations and pledges during March 2011 bringing our total to $99,308.

Way to go, Da Vincians!!

We are humbled that so many people joined together toward a common good. Donors of all levels, ranging from $1 to $10,000, gave to The Chevron Challenge. Your donations have a meaningful impact on every Da Vinci student, every day.

At a time when California schools are facing severe budget cuts, a successful Annual Giving Campaign allows Da Vinci Schools to enhance our college readiness and career preparation programs when others are cutting back. Your donations are helping to provide three full-time counselors at each high school site, ensuring that every student is on track to get into a four-year university and on track for success. Your contributions also funded college field trips, the web-based college search system Naviance Family Connection, and project-based learning materials for each teaching team.

So many people gave their resources and time to making The Chevron Challenge a success. Please join us in celebrating our dedicated Annual Giving volunteers and staff who helped us reach -- and exceed -- our goal. We also pay special tribute to our students, families, faculty, staff, board members, community partners, Wiseburn School District, and local supporters who stepped up in a record-setting way. We couldn't have done it without the support of the entire Da Vinci Community!!

The match has ended, but you can still make a gift to support the vital programs we offer.
