MAKING A DIFFERENCE |

|
The Annual Giving Campaign is Da Vinci Schools’ first giving priority and the fundraiser in which we ask every family to participate. Gifts made to the Annual Giving Campaign come at a crucial time. Da Vinci Schools are bracing for additional cuts from the 2011-2012 budget, the latest in a series of steep cuts totaling more than $1 million since our charter application was filed four years ago.
Da Vinci Schools rely on the support and commitment of our students, families, faculty, staff, board members, community partners, authorizing school district, donors, volunteers and friends who have generously given us their time, passion, money and power of ideas in ways that are changing the face of education. Dollars raised through the Annual Giving Campaign benefit every K-12 Da Vinci student and provide critical operating funds to help bridge the gap between what the state provides and what it really costs to deliver the outstanding education we want for our children. To learn more about the 2011-2012 Annual Giving Campaign, please visit our Annual Giving webpage. The Making Dreams Come True Campaign concluded in June 2011, and the results can be seen throughout the campus. Thanks to your generous support, we raised $125,000 during the 2010-2011 Annual Giving Campaign and Chevron Matching Challenge. Your donations are helping to provide three full-time counselors at each high school site, ensuring that every student is on track to get into a four-year university and on track for success. Your contributions also funded college field trips, the web-based college search system Naviance Family Connection, and project-based learning materials for each teaching team. Whether you give your time, talent or money, we are enormously grateful for your support and continued dedication to Da Vinci Schools!
