Reimagining Education

RISE graduation class of 2017

On the RISE: First graduating class of RISE High (Class of 2017)

Reimagining education requires creativity and collaboration. Da Vinci Schools have ambitious goals that have long defined our culture of innovation.

A seamless pathway of lifelong learning
We seek to create a seamless pathway of lifelong learning from cradle-to-grave, serving as a resource for children and families from infancy, through K-12 and beyond, as students transition into and through college and gainful employment. Our aim is to shepherd students into happy, independent adults.

An affordable pathway to degree completion
Only 8% of low income students graduate college. We strive to create affordable, flexible pathways leading to AA or Bachelor's degree completion directly aligned to workforce needs. Our DVX program offers two unique pathways: UCLA Extension and Southern New Hampshire University's College for America (CfA). CfA offers an online competency-based approach with real world projects and support by Da Vinci coaches. Students gain on-the-job work experience in high-skill, high-demand jobs through paid and unpaid internships that are aligned with each student's interests.   LEARN MORE >

Equity and access
We seek to level the playing field for students who could benefit from an individualized education including foster, homeless, dropout, probation, and other youth in need of flexible scheduling and wraparound counseling, tutoring, and diverse extracurricular opportunities.
